Dear Night City,
The SecSystems Protest is not what it seems.
On this day, August 15th of 2045, a local protest against the SecSystems Corporation is being held. The protest is being spearheaded by a local resident named Gaia, who has organized the protest to oppose SecSystems’ alleged takeover of Night City rooftops. This takeover would forcibly forbid many Night City residents from accessing the gathering spaces located on the urban rooftops of the city. As such, many citizens are eager to protest this change. But there is a secret that you have yet to be informed of.
It’s all a lie.
SecSystems has no itentions of seizing access to the rooftops of the city. These claims have no factual basis, and were in fact intentionally spread by a third party in order to cause unrest in Night City. Gaia is not an independant protester. On the contrary, it would appear that she has an intimate connection with an EagleTech employee. The two were spotted at the recent Red Carpet event, on August 11, 2045.
The implications of this evidence are concerning, to say the least. The motives of both Gaia and EagleTech have yet to be fully revealed.
